The Glass is Half Full

Fast Forward...Today marks an important day...the first visible signs of progress! Behind the green wooden walls a lot has been done. A very difficult hole was dug in the basement and a sewer ejector installed. The dirt basement was trenched and all sewer lines laid down. Throughout the building the fresh water pipes have been 80% completed. The elevator shaft has been plumbed. The fire extinguisher system is being tested, and repairs made.

here is a few pictures of the visible action: Front Glass being installed. My new hard hat was a comforting prescence, though i stood there only long enough to take the picture.

Welcome to our project

This is my first post on the 205 North 7 Project, but not my first day on the job. On June 19 I stepped on to the site for the first time. It was a majestic yet dismal view. Steel and bare studs greeted me with a sad smile. Waiting, neglected for roughly 7 years, they stood steadfast in the hope that someone would come to their aid. Then on the beautiful summer morning we walked through the doorway with blueprints and determination.
